An error is what happens when software is somehow derailed from what’s known as the “happy path.” Find out how to apply your linguistic expertise to writing messages that gently set users back on the path to finishing a task. We’ll look at why writing good messages is important, what prompts these messages, what they can look and act like, and standards and processes for developing effective ones. We’ll wrap up by rewriting some error messages together.
